Early Spring Snow
In a recap of the past 24 hours, conditions have been cold and windy. Wind gusts topping out well over 20 mph made for feels like temperatures in the 30s. Despite the wind and low temperatures, the skies featured some blue and sun. Spring this year has started off rocky in terms of typical spring like conditions.
On tap for today is a snow flurries scattered throughout the day, with accumulation not expected. However, you can expect the wind to be blown around with wind gusts reaching speeds over 20 mph. Coupled with a high temperature just below 40, be prepared for feels like temperatures sitting below 32 degrees.
Warmer conditions are on the way starting as soon as Saturday this weekend. With a high temperature expected to be over 70 degrees , Saturday will mark a shift in temperatures as we begin to see more and more days aligning with spring. With the higher temperatures comes more chances of rain. Showers beginning mid day on Saturday will remain through the weekend into Monday. After a brief respite on Tuesday rain will return and persist throughout the end of next week.
