CWS Forecast: Capital Region

Wildfire smoke will cause hazy conditions to be prevalent across the Commonwealth on Thursday into Friday. The heat will also continue in the latter part of the week, with temperatures remaining solidly above average into the weekend. Wildfire smoke clearing will occur as we head into the weekend, but the threat of showers and potentially severe thunderstorms enters the region on Saturday. Looking ahead, Pennsylvania is looking to see far more stable, seasonable, and dry conditions for the end of the weekend into the start of next work week.
