Our stretch of extremely dry and pleasant weather will be coming to an end next week, but the remainder of October and the first few days of November should still be quite pleasant. A cold front passing through the state will bring cooler conditions and mostly clear skies for Friday, though cloud cover is expected to gradually increase into Halloween. Mostly cloudy skies are expected to remain for much of the Commonwealth Sunday into Monday, with a gradual warming trend also expected. Partly cloudy and warm conditions are expected for Tuesday before the first widespread round of rain for the state in weeks begins overnight on Wednesday and is expected to last at least a couple days.
