High pressure will continue to dominate the upcoming period, with mostly dry conditions and above average temperatures. Clear skies and above average temperatures will be seen throughout the Commonwealth during the day on Thursday. A cold front will begin to track through northwest Pennsylvania overnight bringing the chance for scattered rain showers in those regions. Following the passage of the cold front, temperatures will return to near-normal on Friday with partly cloudy skies. Similar conditions will be seen over the weekend, with slightly above average temperatures and mostly cloudy skies. This pattern will continue into the early work week, with dry conditions through Wednesday. The next chance for rain is next Thursday bringing widespread showers throughout the Commonwealth.
