Thursday will see relatively unsettled conditions across the Commonwealth, with an occasional shower possible during the evening and overnight hours. Temperatures will be slightly higher than average, and windy conditions are likely. On Friday, sunny skies are expected to prevail, with warmer than average conditions continuing. However, heading into Saturday, the region is expecting to see periods of rain throughout the day, giving way to lingering showers overnight. Looking ahead to the late weekend and beginning of next work week, conditions are expected to be drier, and temperatures will continue to be noticeably high for September.
