Pennsylvania Statewide Weather Summary:
Updated Friday, July, 3rd 2009 5:46am
The area of low pressure that has caused most of the unsettled weather this week will finally move off to the Northeast today. This will cause scattered showers and thunderstorms across the state today before this system finally vacates the region. Clouds will decrease overnight tonight as an area of high pressure builds in from the west. This area of high pressure will the keep the region sunny and dry for Independence day. Look for clouds to increase Saturday night as another low pressure system approaches from the Midwest. This system will slide through Virginia on Sunday causing partly sunny skies as well as the threat for a stray shower for areas south of the I-76 corridor. A broad area of high pressure will develop in the wake of this system keeping the region high and dry for the beginning of the next workweek.
